Binghamton University’s School of the Arts was founded in 2023 by Christopher Robbins, with the goal of fostering a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment for students and faculty. As part of the redesign project, I was tasked with updating all subpages to create a cohesive digital experience that aligns with the new landing page. By ensuring consistency in layout, design elements, and user flow, I helped establish a modern, engaging platform that better reflects the school’s creative identity and mission.
My design process for the School of the Arts website involved multiple meetings with Christopher Robbins to ensure his vision was accurately reflected throughout the project. Over the course of several months, I collaborated closely with a creative marketing agency to refine the site’s direction and align it with the school’s goals. I started by using InDesign to create the page layouts, ensuring a structured, cohesive design. Mockups were then developed in Photoshop to refine the visuals, followed by creating interactive elements in Figma to show the user experience and functionality. This collaborative process allowed us to develop a site that’s both visually appealing and easy to navigate, perfectly representing the School of the Arts.
